Marc Mitchell Vs Shiloh - Run To The Light - Main mix & Dub mix
Studio : Sanctuary Music Technology - date 2004 / released 2004
I've made many friends over the world wide web and Shiloh are a great example..You find you elevate towards similar people regardless of how far you are away from them. The beauty of the net. Shiloh started the tune in Canada using propeller heads "Reason" software, put down a basic groove & ruff vocal.. Sent it over to me via "i-chat" & the rest is history... Great to have a tune on Method & a big thank you to Keith for a speedy release. The main mix has the original vocal from Colin in there & is a little tamer then the dub which has a few more parts added primarily from linplugs Albino 2 soft synth & a lot less vocal (hence the dub title even though its a slightly tougher mix).

Inkfish - Mr Drug Abuser - Marc Mitchell Vs Ian Ossia remix
Studio : Sanctuary Music Technology - date 2003 / released 2004
When Ian was over here he played me the beginnings of this remix he had been working on for a year.. But it never seemed to get any further to completion.. So I said, "Right.. In here for a week" I added a few new melodies as the parts provided were so minimal it came down to a couple of Drum hits & an acid line. When me & Ian work together we do generate some great grooves so its easy to finish once we get started.. I think the last 3 tunes I have made with Ian were all made in about 5 days each..

Qiuvver - Twist & Shout - Marc Mitchell remix
Studio : Sanctuary Music Technology - date 2002 / released 2004
I originaly made this remix for Debunk records in Bournemouth in 2002..
Who promptly rejected it !!! Thankfully release records picked it up in 04 including Qiuvver's remix of Culture Clubs "Do you really want to hurt me" on the flip side.. Continuing the 2 year wait before release that my productions seem to be cursed with. Its a chilled mix by prog standards but fits the warm up sets nicely.

Vantage point - Love Like Sleep - Ft Terra Diva
Studio : Sanctuary music technology - Date: 2000 / released Jan 2003
Horaaaay, LLS finally gets released. 2 & a half years after its completion subliminal sub Label "Sondos" finally released the original mix & a new Ludikris & J-Groove mix at the end of December 02..This was the collaboration between Terra Deva, jimmy Van m , Richard Schiessl & myself.. The dub found its way to the vinyl release of Bedrock 2 mixed by jimmy Van M & Dave Seaman's renaissance desire CD, which is why I guess is the dub doesn’t appear on the release. This was the last tune to be completed on the old Alesis Desk before the Flood which is before this site was even up !!. Its a shame that it takes this long for tunes to get out there sometimes but reassuring that they stand the test of time & will hopefully be played for many years to come..

Deepsky - View From A stairway - Human Movement remix
Studio: Sanctuary music technology studio 1- Date 2001/ released 2002
This mix was just to much fun, sometimes when doing remixes you can receive parts that bear little if no resemblance to the original & sometimes are just plan sh*t. This Is the Opposite end of the spectrum, we got smooth exotic parts, Hi quality original stuff, I love these guys & cant wait to work with them some more. It should always be that easy. Available on US label Kinetic Feb02. Lets hope this one does the damage this summer. It should do, it has all the elements. Check out Deepsky's new album, its awesome.

Universal State of Mind - All Because Of You - Sunday Club remix
Studio: Sanctuary music technology studio 1- Date: 2001/ released 2001
Commissioned for the best of Platypus Vol 2 mixed by Parks & Wilson. This is the Sunday Clubs remix of the classic All because of U, The first Sunday Club track in 3 years! and what a mix to come back with. Working with Stuart is always fun. This being our first session in some time we had the chance to define which parts of the new technology would become part of the new Sunday Club sound. I lot of things have moved on , Do we keep the fans happy or do we make something totally new? I think we found a nice compromise in maintaining that Sunday Club feel. Featured as the opening tune (CD 1) on the new GATECRASHER EXPERIENCE CD & the start of the return of Sunday Club. Available on limited 100th release vinyl, Its an honour, privilege & a pleasure to be a continuing part of Platypuses historic output. Congratulations guys, heres to another 100 :)

Vantage Point - Love like Dub - Ft Terra Deva
Studio: Sanctuary music technology studio 1- Date: 2001 / released 2002
This is to date the only vinyl release of "Love like sleep (Dub)". It is signed to subliminal in the USA but at this point (Feb02) they are unsure of its release date. The main mix is available on the Renaissance "Desire" CD as well. It was a great session making this tune. Jimmy is just one of those guys that is permanently "there" always at the gig. A total legend & also good friend. Terra Devas vocals were recorded in one take.. I just took the whole vocal track & made the song structure around it. Hence its long winding journey. What a vocalist, what a mix.

Jimmy Van M @ Sanctuary - Sanctuary

Mitchell Vs TJ Hooker - Channel / Everybody Dance
Studio: Sanctuary music technology - Date: 2000
Local DJ Michael Hooker has been promoting and DJing on the Island with his "Out of this world" & "Frenetic" nights for the past two years. His youthful blend of vibefull hard house has built a small but true following in the island. With my commitments primarily more on the progressive house tip I produced this track then introduced Michael to Paul Henty (previously "Genetic soup", and now resident producer in studio 4 at Sanctuary music technology) Leaving them to continue developing Michael's work. Extending now to Aztec, Neukleuz, & collaborations with Chris C. Well done lad's!.

Human Movement - Cabala / Dark Blue
Studio: Sanctuary music technology - Date: 1999
Recorded for Whoop's 50th release. I fell in love with this tune when I heard it on the Whoop 2 CD I played it for day's, ( it's only a couple of notes away from "Doctor Who" you know ). The parts we got sent from (John Digweed's production partner on the Bedrock recording's & solely known as Cabala) were the most proficient complete part's I've ever received making this remix a very easy and enjoyable process to do.

Human Movement - Dominion / Fortunes
Studio: Sanctuary music technology - Date: 1999
Recorded for Whoop records fifteenth release with "Dark Blue" but getting shelved at the 11th hour still unreleased today. I put it up because I know it's only a mater of time before someone pick's this up. I've heard Paul Mack play this out & it sound's fuck'n amazing!. Kept the original lead line but thinned & spooked it out. If you like it, get in touch with Whoop & let them Know.

Pob & Taylor - Bah Bah - Human Movement remix
Studio: Sanctuary music technology - date: 1999
This remix commissioned by "Distinctive" had virtually know parts sent down with it . Just 1 or 2 short noises. I made a whole batch of new sounds for the kit & got the computer in reception to supply me with the generated vocals. Hence the Phonetic title as opposed to the pob & Tayler original "Baa Baa". This remix found it's way ( with our great pleasure ) to becoming the opening track on CD2 of the first ( blue ) "Bedrock" CD mixed by John Digweed.

Furry Freaks - Soothe - Sunday Club remix
Studio: Sanctuary Music Technology - Date 1999
My first opportunity to work on Terra Deva's vocal's. This was a classic from the early renaissance compilation, originally remixed by "Chicaine" it was now time (thanks to Stuart) for Sunday Club to put their distinctive mark on it. This was the first tune to be recorded at Sanctuary after our nightmare being left homeless the year previous. It had been 8 months since I had a place to put the studio, and make any music. It always takes a couple of tunes for your ear's and system to settle in to the new acoustic environment. This being the 1st recorded in the dungeons at the Sanctuary is unwittingly subject to some extreme top end ....Sorry.
