For over sixteen years Marc Mitchell has been crafting his skills
as a music producer and composer, with countless labels and Dj's
wanting a slice of his emotionally charged electronic masterpieces.Under
the production guises of
Sunday Club,Humanmovement and Vantage Point (with Jimmy Van M)
he has honed a sound that is always reconised, respected and epic. There
is not a label within
the progressicve/trance movement that Marc has not graced at some
point in his career, and wasnt long before production credits came
in for TV and film. Marc is an electronic musician for the future
and one of the studio godfathers of the mordern sound.

Thanks to Jon & Dan for there continuing effort..
I've recently finished the MM remix of Orkidea's Beautiful yet another monster, very 'Etrna's flight'. Full of the prog soup intro & outro but with a filling of heightened epic trance.. I'm really pleased with this mix.. Now signed to 5AM records and is due out early next year with the flip side being a track produced by Orkidea & Super8.
I'm planning a collaboration with Orkidea "Eternal Love" which I will be starting very soon.. I will keep you posted.
Summer Skies has now been signed to Tiger shade / Lost Language.. & is currently having 24 part real strings recorded in India for the final mix.. I will soon get the parts back to complete the mix. Paul Le Claire & myself are very excited to hear the results on this one. I am also currently working on another tune with Paul "Breath of fresh air" which is near compleation & will be avalible for preview soon.
Coming up in the new year is a project that I'm very excited about.. "Infinite Energy" is the title of a Documentary, and produced by "E & L INDUSTRIES".This is currently being filmed and will be finished in Jan-Feb 05. Shedding light on the hidden theory's of infinite free energy from some of the great & sometimes silenced minds in science, from Einstein to Tesla.. AS the documentary is being filmed in digital, this will be my 1st project in 5.1.
Arrived in the studio this month is the new soft synth from MOTU, The "MX 4". She's settled in well expect to see some downloadable patches in the members section shortly. Also installed is the DP4.5 update, again massive changes & all for the better. On the equipment front there are some other new arrivals expected any day....A dual G5 2.5 GHz Power Mac 23" Apple cinema screen & an i-pod photo.. The i-pod was for my birthday a few weeks back (thanks guys) & the Computer is form all the family for Christmas from my father in the dam of amster.
Stuart King & Mikey Ashford made it back from Ibiza finally last month.. After a blinding session playing @ Space and Privilege, there hearing is slowly returning to normal. They have lovingly supplied "6" mixes for you to download as a demonstration of there ability's & an example of the sets that were featured this year in Ibiza. Head to the members section for a listen.
Also on the Message Board you can listen too & vote for your favourite Healing Dream remixes made by MM members.. There's been some great mixes done. I have to say my favourite was the Two tribes remix......Well done Lars !.. Not only has Lars remixed healing dream but also Sunday Clubs Palladian Dawn !! again take a listen in the MM members section.
As another month passes so another MM tune is lifted out of the vault for download.. This month the is a unreleased rarity....Head to the members section to find out more.
Next on the studio schedule is the 2005 remix of Travellers theme for Whoop. Paul is currently sifting through the old midi parts & hopefully we will be able to bring you those parts for the next Members sample & Parts download very soon.

Listen to a preview "here" or in latest productions this one is expected out on vinyl & Girl Nobody's remix album @ the end of this year.
After two years of waiting and countless emails from people requesting info on the remix that Sunday Club did for Deepsky's "Talk Like A Stranger" it appears to not have made it onto the initial release on Yoshitoshi. Apparently they are planning another release later this year... which will feature the remaining mixes... well after a 2 year wait already I will believe that when I see it :j..
On the flip side Yoshitoshi's most recent release is a Sophie Moleta EP featuring 4 mixes of the song 'PAUL ELUARD' Go sophieeeeeeeee
I spoke to Sophie last night in New Zealand and she wants to come over to Jersey for a few weeks in September, hopefully to write some new stuff with me and some tracks for american composer / producer Gregory Ives. (photo by salvatore criscillo)
On the TV front "Reefs of Iron" was completed and broadcast on Channel TV last month, this documentary produced by Sue Daly looks at the marine life around divable ship wrecks in the English Channel. I'm really pleased with how this has come out.. Click "here" to see the programme or in the "Music for TV" section. Click "here" to download an MP3 of the music montage for your undersea ambient pleasure .. I'm using the Dosendorfer piano and the acoustic guitars all from the MOTU Mach 5 library on this one, oo what a difference. Spectrasonics "Atmospheres" plus "Trilogy" were used quite a bit too..
Talking of MOTU they have just released there new soft synth called the "MX 4", it looks and sounds awesome.. Expect to hear it soon on lots of MM productions.. There is now a Music Technology forum in the members section I will be posting selected MM created patches for you to download from time to time.. Any other "MX 4" users (or any other soft-synth's or platforms) please feel free to do the same
Also recently completed is another collaboration with Paul le Clair, "Summer Skies" it has a lovely Royskop meats Seal vibe to it.. Check out the preview "here" or in latest productions.. This track has already been earmarked for a new ambient / world label launching later this year. more info on that soon. Paul got married last month in Moscow, to Nataliea a Russian ballerina. Congratulations to the le Claire bear
At the moment im working on a remix for Finland's Top Radio 1 DJ Orkidea his track entitled "Beautiful" it was originally out three years ago but its going to get the MM "treatment" for his new label Unity for re release.
As well as the 'Run 2 the light' collaboration Shiloh are going to be remixing the MM V's Deepsky track "Lost in the Moment" (as featured on the Deepsky video diary). Interest from two Major Labels for this one @ the moment. Release wise, its the same story with the MM remix of Deepsky's 'Ghost' they are entertaining several offers @ the moment.. Listen to the preview here or in latest productions.
In other news, there has been reports of a tanned twitching adomus appearing in moonlight on the island of Ibiza, answering to the name of DJ "Stuart King" from the Sunday club. If spotted please capture a photo of him and post it on the members section to receive an exclusive unreleased Sunday Club remix, last sightings were @ Amnesia, Space, & privilege!
I would like to recommend a CD I've been listening too at this point but I have to say that any listening time has been taken up by two internet radio services which provide nothing but great music 24 hours a day. The first is Proton radio featuring all the progressive house crowd we have come to know and love, faces old and new, the second is Groove Salad from soma FM, unbelievable chilled listening.. If you get the time do check them out.
On a personal note, my Mum got married a few weeks back,.. Which was awesome, I had to give her away & her new Husband Michael is a wonderful guy. There like a couple of teenagers. Malachi has now lost 5 baby teeth.. Its been a busy few months with family and friends visiting from around the world including my father from Amsterdam, we have just ordered a new dual 2.5ghz Mac G5 for the house & Family, Malachi's an amazing artist (like his mum) Photoshop lessons have already begun I'm looking forward to being able to do some work @ home to.
Talking of which, Malachi's about to hijack this computer to get some Jedi knight Light sabre action on the go.
Hopefully I will catch some of you on the members section, I've been amazed @ the people & friends I've made using the internet from all over the world over the years, all with 1 thing in common 'the music', I look forward to seeing what happens when you all start meeting each other on there.

Sunday morning @ 4am on the 4th of the 4th 04, Annie Nightingale featured a mix from Andreas Hermansson of Swedish outfit Inkfish..
In his mix Andreas played the burufunk remix of Deepskys "Talk like a stranger", then Human Movements "Fall in 2 love" Shiloh rmx, then finished his mix with Marc Mitchell vs. Shiloh "Run 2 the light" !!! Listen to the show again @
Click "listen again" the Inkfish mix starts 1 hour in. If you right click on the word 'stopped' in the Radio 1 music player you can switch to 'real player' & forward it from there. Not only was it very pertinent being a numerological '4', & it being the 1st Radio 1 play for "innersense" the label but it also marks 12 years of my productions being consistently played on Radio 1, the 1st being with Eric Powell, 5 minz to midnight new years eve 1992 just before the chimes. Does'nt time fly when your having fun!
The shows only up there for a week.. So check it now..

Yo global muse dudes
Yet more great work achieved with Deepsky. I have just finished the Marc Mitchell remix of "Ghost" & if I say so myself "its Fu**'n enormous. Again featuring jes on vocals. This is to be the closing track on the new album for kinetic records & hopefully second single from the album Which is called "Future Perfect". Deepsky's vocalist 'Jes' has had a busy time of it, sawing her way in to the UK top 10 featuring on Motorcycles "when the rush comes", she was on 'top of the pops' last week, I nearly dropped my Milk shake..well done jes, looking & sounding awesome.
The Deepsky / Mitchell collaboration "Lost in the moment" will also be on the album (listen & see the making of "here" or in the video diary section) as will there original version of the single "Talk like a stranger" which has finally had its release date confirmed on Yoshitoshi as April 5th, featuring 4 mixes, Deepsky, "Sunday Club", Markus Shultz & 29 palms..
Deepsky / mm fans would have noticed that Stuart Kings guest mix was featured on Deepsky's "Fundamental" 2 hour show on XM-80 (The Move) last week in the USA, if you missed it you can listen again to Stueez mix by clicking "here" or in the DJ mixes section on the left. Track listing for the mixes are here. Stuart will be playing for Slinky @ Amnesia & Privilage this year in Ibiza.
Also completed is the Shiloh / Mitchell collaboration "Run 2 the light".
Another pumping tune, heading of to the Baroque stable were you just no it will be looked after I'm currently working on the dub which will be finished this week. Expect a release some time early summer. Take a listen in latest productions.
shilohs latest releases are avalible along with other great canadian output @ www.releaserecords.com
Shiloh have also finished there remix of Human movements "fall in to love". It is a sign of the times when you can sit here in Jersey, a rock in the middle of no were & be working on tunes with people in L.A, Canada & New Zealand at the same time. The power of the internet, ichat, aim, SMS, ICQ & hi speed file transfers makes it a doddle. Shiloh's remix completes the remixes for the HM Album & leaves only "willow" to be done. Keep an ear out for Sophie's vocals on Scott bond & solar stones new track too ! painting of sophie by Ushan Boyd
(email: ushan_boyd@yahoo.com)
Vantage point's "Cant get it wrong" was Released in January on Subliminal featuring 2 remixes from "The Monkey Bars"..nuff said
It pains me to talk about "innersense" the label because I feel like I'm repeating myself & it is so frustrating.. we are doing as much as we can to get this up & running as quickly as possible. We have finished the shop which as well as CD & vinyl can now provide MP3 downloads.
Next week I start the music for a new TV project for marine photographer Sue Daly. 'Reefs of iron" is a 30 min programme on the divable ship wrecks around the British isles.. I'm Now using MOTU's DP4.12 & Mach 5 in OSX 10.3.2 & its solid as a rock.. I'm going to be filming the next video diary around the "reefs of iron" project & hopefully give an insight in to the creative & technical process.
If you cant wait that long to see me @ work you can click on the MM cam on the left, If I'm in, its on.. It will also let you now what I'm working on & give you my ICQ & aim numbers to contact me on.
My little boy Malachi is 6 this week !!..were does the time go.. Its a strange age, replacing plastic with Playstation ! happy birthday M8
No word on the release date for the Ossia / Mitchell remix of Inkfish MDA, but we know its the next release on acting out, We are hoping it will be around April to coincide with the release of 'Talk like a stranger', 'Lost in the Moment', 'Ghost rmx' & 'run to the light'. Looks like Aprils guna be a big month..
