The Sunday club Remix of Deepsky's "Talk like a stranger" has been confirmed for Feb 04 release on Yoshi-Toshi .This will coincide with the Release of Deepsky's second album on kinetic records. Of which appears the Deepsky / Mitchell collaboration called "Pro-found-moment". Promos of 'Talk like a stranger' should be out soon..already tipped as the tune of 04 ! (lets hope so :j) More info @

Stuart King has just arrived back from his summer in Ibiza playing for Slinky. He left here on a whim & a prayer and ended up playing the main set @ Privilege for a 5 hour set, then became resident for the summer !! well done Mr.King.. Back now for the winter & release of the best of Sunday club CD.. Featuring the tunes you know & love plus some previously unreleased mixes due out this December. 2 years ago me & Richard made a tune with new balance DJ Lius Diaz @ Sanctuary "Floating". It was just about to be signed to Hooj Records & we were expecting a release Feb 04, however as you may or may not know, Hooj are no more... No release date confirmed.

Human Movement are 1 tune away from completing the album.. Sophie sent me the last 2 vocals a few weeks back, one penned by David Taylor Called "Bon Voyage" & the other penned by Sophie called "Willow" take a listen to "Bon voyage" a beautiful lament in latest productions. Production of "Willow" starts end of next week. These plus the remixes from Deepsky, Ian Ossia & Shiloh should make for a awesome album.

Ossia is here! Yes its true, Ian has moved & come to Jersey to live here for a bit. Ian has set his studio up @ the sanctuary. We have just finished a remix for Swedish label "Acting out" of an Inkfish track "Mr Drugabuser" out December 03 & also we received the awesome U & K remix of "4 day haze". In Ian's words, "its great to be in such a creative environment, I'm working faster then ever before because of the interaction between myself & marc.. I'm looking forward to taking a breather". Ian is currently remixing a new track by "Mashford" (Paul Mack & Micky Ashford) then remixing Human movements "Grow in love" for the Human Movement album.

Recently I completed some work for top UK web-designers Liquid Light.. Check out this small piece of Mitchellized audio bliss in the 'music for' section on the left. Our internet shop is now complete. Very soon you will be able to go to www.music.je & purchase innersense Cds / vinyl etc.. The building of Music.je shop has been primarily why the members section & guestbook are not yet finished. At 1st we will be selling our own product & then hope to open the shop up to other artists & producers that can use the facility.

We are pleased to announce that Canadian, Baroque Breakmiesters "Shiloh" are remixing "Fall in to love" for the Human Movement Album. Also Expect a Shiloh / Mitchell collaboration before the end of the year. More info on Shiloh @ www.shilomedia.com The Mitchell/perls collaboration 'Paradise' is now complete.. Take a listen in latest productions. I'm not sure what we're going to do with this one.. But its pure poptastic folks Circ's "Destroy she says" just topped the billboard dance charts.. The minimalisation of the studio is complete. I have shipped out all that was not being used & just left the essentials, there's a lot more space, a nice new carpet & its all looking very post production now lovely.
I'm now using Digital Performer OSX 4.1 with audio unit support & MOTU's new "Mach 5 " sampler.. All plug ins old & new working a treat. Now Ready for the upgrade to 5.1 .

Malachi's cat "Kitty Naboo" had kittens last month.. We've kept 2, Motu (black, with a white chest & unbelievable white smile) & Cosmo-Jo (Ginger / orange ripple), Mother & kittens are doing fine but the curtains are ruined !

Beverly Frances David

In memory of Beverly Frances David who died on the 17/07/03. A Founding member of the band "Ordinary People". After a short fight with cancer Bev has ascended to take her rightful place with the lords & lady's of Shambarla..

The 'Mahatma' is one of the most powerful tunes I've ever made & is full of Bevs magic.. Please download the MP3 & spend a minute thinking about the changes that await us all & the love we can share in the mean time..

Local senator / politician , ex marine, ex body guard & Songwriter Paul Le Claire was in the studio last week. I produced one of his songs "Fly like a bird".. A completely different tip to my usual expected sounds but as some will be aware not outside of my musical & production ability's.. Paul gave me the acoustic guitar track & guide vocals, the rest is all spectrasonics trilogy & atmosphere. The ESX24 string patches through Kontact, the roland 2080 & DP3.11

"Talk like a stranger" I am pleased to announce that Label 'Yoshi Toshi' will now be releasing it in August with promos out in July.

Diary 015 - 12/04/03
Yo Global doods.
Its very difficult to find Balance when the world is going through so much change.
So, I've been keeping as busy as I can...

Label is taking longer then expected.. I just keep making more & more music. Go figure . Looks like there will be a Sampler Album 1st, All the current tunes on 3 x unmixed 12" vinyl & 2 mixed CDs.. That way the Shelf is cleared & I can move fully into 5.1 production & releases..

I've been working a lot with Award winning Marine photographer Sue Daly,Take a look at the QT montage videos of the projects "Living on the edge", "Sea search" & "St.Abbs".. There is (of coarse) narration on the finished versions but I have just left the music & Sound FX on these.. As they say "Nice work, as & when you can get it ". Great fun, good vibes & I hope there will be more work for sue later in the year.

J. Scott. G "Deepsky" came over from LA in Feb to collaborate with me .. A massive session Scott & I had a great 5 dayz, then ended it with a fantastic gig & 1st play of the tune @ ice nightclub. Check the Deepsky Video Diary. Scott will be back later in the year. This tune will join "Talk like a stranger" on the 2nd Deepsky album due out later in the year on Kinetic. More info @

After Ian's Ossia's last visit for the making of "About time" He returned in December to make our 2nd tune "4 Day Haze". check out the video diary of the session, the gig & capture a "Mac crash" on film . Ian is back over next week again playing for us over the Easter break & helping me rip the studio out, upgrade to 5.1 & DP4 OSX & all that goes with it..scary ! but then change always is. 4 Day haze has its Global premier on Lucian Forts awesome new mix CD "Slice vol 1" available now @ www.slice.nl

I also had the chance to remix Quivers "Twist & shout" early March , take a listen to the Marc Mitchell remix in the latest productions margin. Sunday Clubs Stuart King was recently trying to find his way around the Winter Music Conference in Miami & had this mix handed to him on a CD before he saw anyone he knew , great initial responses so I expect to see it out 1 way or another by early summer.

I'm currently working on a tune called "Paradise" Im producing for Alexander perls. Real electro / euro pop feel.. So dam catchy. Check out some of Alex's releases including the new circ single & Video "Destroy she says" @ www.alexanderperls.com
Im also putting the final tweeks on the Deepsky / Mitchell tune..
